McCarthy's Irish Pub and Restaurant | Our Story
Rooted in Irish tradition, built for Tequesta
McCarthy's Irish Pub and Restaurant found its home in Tequesta, Florida — right on US-1 at County Line Plaza, minutes from Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens. A proper neighborhood pub: good craic, generous portions, everybody welcome.
The pub itself
A long wooden bar runs one side — Guinness taps, sports on the screens, shamrocks on the walls. The separated dining room and stage open up for live music nights and gatherings of up to 80.
Food that feels like home
Chicken pot pie, bangers and mash, fish and chips, blackened salmon sliders — fresh scones hit the table before the meal even starts. The kitchen takes allergies seriously, so everyone eats well.
The people who make it
Owner Michael Huddleston works the room — greeting guests by name, getting behind the bar, sometimes singing. Staff like Camilo, Vicki, Amber, and Debbie have earned loyal followings for the kind of attentiveness that turns first-timers into regulars.
Tequesta's local gathering place
McCarthy's has quickly become where the neighborhood gathers — after work, on weekends, and for the moments worth celebrating. It's close enough to draw a crowd, but grounded enough to feel like yours.
